So more than just theme parks

Translation by Otávio Bernardi

Let’s check out more about two lesser known places of the Walt Disney World?

Disney’s Boardwalk opened in 1996, on a large sidewalk alongside a lake, inspired by the seaside town markets, like Coney Island and Atlantic City, famous on the turn of the century. It has many types of stores, offering entertainment, restaurants and night activities, best known as a smaller Disney Springs. Its location is between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, at the bottom of Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. Disney’s Boardwalk has a free access for all visitors.

ESPN Wide World of Sports Orlando is a Walt Disney World theme park, partnered with ESPN. However IT IS focused totally on sports. IT WAS Opened in 1997, soon after Disney bought the broadcaster. Inside, there are various areas, like baseball stadiums, soccer and football fields, golf, tennis courts, ice-skating arenas, among others. Oh! And it’s even possible to meet Disney characters dressed as athletes and supporters. In the stores of this park, you can buy different sports items, some exclusive and signed by famous athletes. Some big sport events are hosted on the ESPN park, such as the Pop Warner Super Bowl.

For more information on the Disney Boardwalk, you can check out Disney’s website. And to learn more about the ESPN park, you can check the official website or also Disney’s. But if you need any help, you can start a chat with me!
