Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade

3. Exhibitions, parades and shows:

  • Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire: a musical where Mickey and his friends perform in front of Cinderella’s Castle at different times throughout the day.

  • Disney Festival of Fantasy: Main stop of the Magic Kingdom, usually happens once a day, in the afternoon, beginning in Frontierland and finishing on Main Street.

  • Move it! Shake it! Dance & Play it! Street Party: A Minor stop, with lots of music so you can’t sit still and dance with many different characters, like Mickey and Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald and Daisy. It happens throughout the day.

  • Happily Ever After: Night show with fireworks and lasers, and a mapped projection that turns the castle into a giant movie screen, presenting many of the big titles of Disney.

  • Once Upon a Time: Another night show with fireworks and projections, giving life to Cinderella’s Castle, with scenes from the classic Disney characters.

P.S.: The two night shows happen with a little intermission of minutes. The second show is usually emptier, but both are worth watching.

HINT: Try to arrive earlier (30 min or 1 hour) to get a good place to watch the night shows. The best spot is between the Casey’s Corner and the Ice Cream Parlor.

Sunday on Mickey’s sink

4. Make sure to taste these:

  • Casey’s Corner: Quick Service restaurant (balcony service) with great options of snacks like: hot dogs, nachos, French fries and drinks. Located in the Main Street USA.

  • Mickey’s Ice Cream: Most traditional version is Mickey’s little cute face covered in chocolate.

  • Plaza Ice Cream Parlor: Ask for the Sunday on Mickey’s sink, it comes with two big ice cream balls, plus chocolate glaze, whip cream and a cherry on top. You can find this on Main Street USA.

5. During the seasonal periods, the Magic Kingdom throws special paid extra parties, such as: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, inspired by the festivities. And the parks are completely redecorated to set the theme.

For more information on the schedule of these events, check the My Disney Experience App or Disney’s official website. But if you need a hand, just contact me right here!
